    Default How can I tell what version of Apache web server is running on Linux?

    is there any method to find out the Apache version?

    any help will be appreciated

    It is very easy

    From the command line type "httpd -v"

    $ httpd -v
    Server version: Apache/2.0.54
    Server built: Jan 5 2006 11:10:01
