How can I add excel charts into my Typepad blog?

I am trying to insert an excel chart into a blog as a visible chart and not a link. I have tried converting it into a jpeg, html, trying to insert it as a screen shot and just cutting and pasting it but nothing worked. I am currently using typepad as a blog but I'm happy to swtich to another one if it is user friendly for the novice blogger. Any ideas?
